WORKING TO PROTECT OUR FUTURE!
I love West Volusia!
It has been my family's home since 1974. My husband Ed and I raised our two sons here. They attended Volusia County Public Schools and they continue to live here and call our community home. Our grand daughter Morgan will attend Enterprise Elementary next year, the same school that her Dad attended. Our family has a deep and solid commitment to this part of the county.
Working together with our cities and our rural communities we've been moving our corner of the county forward in a quality way. Good paying "green" jobs are relocating to our towns; soon we will have a health care facility on the eastern edge of the district; Roads are being improved and we are adding trails and parks to create an outdoor recreation environment that is world class. And most importantly we are leaving our earth a lot greener by preserving our County's wild and rural heart.
Working together we are reducing the cost of government; we are doing more with less and we are on target for additional tax relief this next budget year.
Our corner of the county deserves a strong committed leader who understands the issues affecting us. I have provided that kind of leadership - every day - since I took office.
I know that by working together we can continue to produce real results and change that our families deserve. Won't you join with me in this campaign!
